What is SilkPeel Dermalinfusion and what can it do for you?

 

SilkPeel Dermalinfusion treatments are non-invasive mechanical exfoliation treatments without the harsh chemicals or crystals that remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells from the treated area.

They differ from traditional dermabrasion resurfacing treatments in that they use patented technology to perform the treatment with a system that gently exfoliates with different treatment tips while infusing topical solutions to the skin. Various topical vitamins or a combination of topicals can be used for each patient in order to customize the treatment. What areas are treated with SilkPeel Dermalinfusion?

Although SilkPeel treatments are most often done on their own, a version of the treatment can be performed several days after undergoing a deep IPL or FotoFacial treatment in order to remove excess pigmentation or "coffee grounding" side effects of these procedures. What does the treatment entail?

 

To perform a SilkPeel treatment, our licensed esthetician begins with a deep cleansing of the skin, followed by a SkinCeuticals Clarifying Clay Masque applied for a few minutes in order to pull out any impurities and decongest pores, while a deep massage is done on your face, neck, and arms. Next, the SilkPeel treatment, with customized solutions for your skin's concerns, is performed on the treated area. This process takes about 15 minutes for a full face. Upon the completion of this step, topical vitamins and minerals will be applied. Finally, sunscreen is applied to the treated area. A full SilkPeel treatment lasts approximately 50-60 minutes.

 

What level of results can SilkPeel Dermalinfusion deliver?

 

You should expect significant results from a series of SilkPeel Dermalinfusion treatments, particularly when combined with a VIPeel or a series of microcurrent treatments.  The customized solutions which are infused into the skin during the treatments will provide a refined, polished effect on your skin.
